Section 8A
Updating survey maps
–
(1) If there is a need to amend the survey map in accordance with the registration records maintained according to section 7 and 8, the shipping office shall send a written notice to the concerned maintenance surveyor branch and after receiving such a written message, the maintenance surveyor branch shall also make the necessary amendments to the survey map.
(2) If it is found that there is no uniformity between the actual position of the land and the land surveying map, the land office shall send a written message to the surveying department to correct the surveying map and upon receipt of the written report, the surveying department shall make the necessary corrections to the surveying map.
